Still comin’ down…..I’m actually doing pretty well with everything I pulled out…..throwing more of it away than I’m keeping 😉 And Brittany is enjoying her My Little Pony game on the computer…..had to pry her away so I could do this. I’m not sure you’ll see much of a difference since there is now snow on the porch and I couldn’t go out without shoes on and I wasn’t going back in to get them and out again…..while it may seem like a heat wave at 15degrees, it’s still pretty damn cold out there :-p
Here ya go……
Winter Storm Warning In Effect Until 10 AM EST Sunday…
The National Weather Service In Mount Holly NJ Maintains A Winter Storm Warning For The Region. Total Snow Accumulations Of 9 To 13 Inches Are Expected By The Time The Storm Ends Sunday Morning.
A Dangerous Winter Storm Started Over The Region Late Saturday Morning. Snow Associated With This Storm Will Continue Through The Late Afternoon Hours… Perhaps Taper Off A Little This Evening… Then Continue Through The Overnight Hours Into Sunday Morning.
Extremely Hazardous Weather Conditions Have Already Developed And All Unnecessary Travel Is Not Recommended Through Sunday. Follow The Direction Of Emergency Management And Police In Your Area.
This Winter Storm Will Be Comprised Of Two Phases. The First Phase… Which Is Currently Affecting The Region… Will Feature Very Heavy Snow Into This Evening. This Phase Is Expected To Produce The Higher Accumulating Snow. Snow Is Expected To Fall So Heavily That Near White-Out Conditions Are Likely With Rates Reaching One To Two Inches Per Hour. The Second Phase Will Occur Overnight Into Sunday Morning And Is Expected To Feature Lighter Snow, But Considerably Stronger Winds. This Will Cause Blowing And Drifting Of What Should Be A Very Light And Fluffy Snow. This May Cause Blizzard Conditions At Times.
Another Factor Will Be The Very Low Wind Chills. As Winds Increase Tonight Into Sunday, Wind Chill Values Will Be Near 5 Below Zero.
People Who Find It Necessary To Venture Outside Should Wear Multiple Layers Of Clothing, Gloves And A Hat. Limit Outdoor Time To A Minimum. Pets Who Are Kept Outdoors Will Require, At A Minimum, A Strong And Well Insulated Shelter To Protect Them From The Cold, Wind And Snow, As Well As Access To Plenty Of Unfrozen Water. The Most Humane Thing To Do Is To Bring Your Pet Indoors.
